Betsy was asked to give a presentation on Still Lifes to the Chester County Camera Club. Although she had done other presentations, this topic was somewhat new to her, and she needed to study the genre and create new images to include in the presentation. It was challenging, eye-opening, and a lot of fun! Betsy researched old master paintings of still lifes and more modern photographs, then took a turn at creating her own. And she attended a weekend workshop to learn the technique of light painting from Harold Ross. The above image was done at the workshop.
Since presenting at the Chester County Camera Club, Betsy has been tapped by numerous other camera clubs to share this presentation. A listing of her presentations to other clubs can be found here. And Here is a sampling of images from her presentation.
