After a short hike through a eucalyptus forrest, we were harnessed up and ready to fly. It was a bit scary stepping off the platform but what fun it was to fly through the air. The first trip was relatively short, and each successive trip became longer and higher off the ground. The final zip line was about 800 feet. We ran off the platform and flew across the tree-filled valley below. It went back up towards a pole, then descended backwards and then forwards again when a guide caught us and guided us to a platform staircase. Here is a short video of Jim and one of Betsy on the Zip Line
Dinner at the Hula Grill Barefoot bar where we observed a child at the table next to us burying his parents sandals in the sand while they sipped on drinks with unbrellas in them. Then off to a luau with fire dancers and roast pig.
