This historic and artistic treasure is located right in our hometown of Malvern.
Wharton Esherick (1887-1970) was a sculptor and artist who worked primarily in wood, and his studio abounds with amazing sculptures, furniture and decorating surprises. A National Historic Landmark for Architecture, his hilltop studio/residence, with more than 300 of his works on exhibition, has been preserved much as it was when the artist lived and worked there. A personal tour led by friend made the visit even more enjoyable.
